when retrieving a doc i am unable to use the jaws cursor keys. i cannot go to the begining of the line, nor the end. i cannot move forward to the next ine using the down arror key nor say the next word. the only thing i am able to do is a combanation of the invisible feature and the say all key. when i try to use the hot keys it only reads part of the line. it feels like it is stuck. any suggestions? is it a script manager issue? a compatability issue? any help wouldbe appreciated. thanks, gizzmo

Sounds like your window might not be maximized.

Was it working before, or did you just install Office 2003?
I can't remember if Jaws 11 is, or isn't compatible.

It is compatible, but what OS< I didn't see mentioned? different suggestions based on os.
Thanks.

I think he's got Windows 7. So if it was working before and stopped he'd maybe need a repair. If it is freash installed, depends.

Sounds more like video, IE resolution, system font Size ETC.

I say that be a good bet. I guess I'd just repair or reinstall it and see if that solved the issue.

In my past life at FS, so many calls that were refered over that couldn't be solved on the first attempt, and more often than not, it was resolution, set super high, or font size larger than 100%. Caused all sorts of issues with the dom reading order for MS office products.

So, maybe he should check to make sure the resolution, is at default for his specific machine.
He still hasn't said if it was working, then stopped, or is this a problem with a new install?
That help.
